Atracción fatal, es una película de 1987 dirigida por Adrian Lyne. En los Estados Unidos la película tuvo un gran impacto en la opinión pública como reflexión sobre la fidelidad conyugal. Consiguió seis nominaciones a los Oscar, a la mejor película, al mejor director, a la mejor actriz principal (Glenn Close), a la mejor actriz de reparto (Anne Archer), al mejor guión adaptado, y al mejor montaje.



Adrian Lyne es un productor y director de cine inglés responsable de algunas de las películas más célebres y comentadas de los años 1980 y 1990.
Comenzó su carrera dirigiendo comerciales de televisión.
También dirigió el video musical para el tema musical de Flashdance llamado Maniac, de Michael Sembello (autor de música de película como Cocoon, Gremlins, Summer Lovers, The Monster Squad e Independence Day).

Glenn Close tuvo la suerte de que las tres primeras elecciones del director, Debra Winger, Barbara Hershey y Miranda Richardson, rechazaran el proyecto. Sharon Stone también audicionó pero fue descartada. Era la vengativa amante de un hombre casado que no se conformaba con ser la querida de un fin de semana. Con Michael Douglas, Anne Archer, Fred Gwynne y Jane Krakowski. Por primera vez postuló al Oscar como principal, pero perdió ante Cher por "Moonstruck".

Anne Archer obtuvo una nominación al Oscar por su papel de esposa de un marido infiel como mejor actriz de reparto. Entre sus mejores películas se encuentran Patriot Games (1992), Short Cuts (1993) y Clear and Present Danger (1994).





En esta película tambien trabaja Ellen Foley, la vocalista original del album de Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell (1977) en el papel de Hildy.

La música de la película es del triple ganador del Oscar Maurice Jarre (Dr. Shivago, Lawrence de Arabia, Pasaje a la India), aunque por esta película solo fue nominado para los Grammys y no ganó.

Estas seguramente DVDBeaver haga una excelente reseña proximamente y sin duda apareceran en .MKV, ya que no van a traer subtítulos en español y el mundo de "emekavefilos" sin tapujos las reclama !!!!

BFI have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Trilogy of Life films on 27th April 2009. The BFI presents The Decameron, The Canterbury Tales and Arabian Nights as three individual releases priced at £19.99 RRP each on DVD and £24.99 RRP each on Blu-ray Disc.
The films are all presented in 1.85:1 Widescreen (anamorphic on DVD, 1080/24 on Blu-ray Disc) with Italian audio and optional English subtitles. The Blu-ray releases are all on dual-layer BD50 discs.
