Warner Home Video have announced the UK Blu-ray Disc release of Superman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1978-2006 on 13th June 2011. This 8-disc set includes Superman The Movie (theatrical & expanded cuts), Superman II (theatrical & The Richard Donner Cut), Superman III, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and Superman Returns, all for the first time with DTS-HD Master Audio. Also on the discs is over 20 hours of bonus features, spanning everything from feature-length documentaries (You Will Believe: The Cinematic Saga of Superman, Look, Up in the Sky! The Amazing Story of Superman) to George Reeves in Superman and the Mole-Men, the complete Fleischer/Famous Studios 1940s Superman cartoons, filmmaker commentaries, rare TV pilot, featurettes, archival footage and much, much more.
